What LiveWorkDream publishes
- The Country That Works For You: a free delivery programme for Britain, sector by sector, with costs, trade-offs, and sources you can check
- The Long Cycle: essays and video on how Britain reached managed decline (on the blog and YouTube)
- Geopolitical commentary: energy, food, supply chains, and UK economic outlook, published as events warrant
- Resilience Garden: practical guides for growing, preserving, and household preparedness (books)
The blog does not run to a fixed schedule. The pace depends on what is actually happening.
Editorial approach
Analysis is grounded in primary sources: government publications, official data, documented evidence. It is structured and direct.
Every blog post carries a risk level (Low, Medium, High, or Critical) so you can triage quickly. Critical means something imminent and significant. Low means background context or historical framing.
The tone is direct and occasionally dry. Glen does not trade in alarmism for its own sake, nor in hedging that hides what the evidence says. When something looks serious, he says so. When the evidence is mixed, he says that too.
Research and drafting use AI-assisted workflows under Glen's direction. Everything on the site is reviewed for accuracy and judgement before publication.
Fleur Lamont and Asguard
Fleur Lamont Ltd is Glen's UK technology company. It builds and hosts LiveWorkDream and develops practical software for families.
The flagship product is Asguard, a daily companion for older people living at home. It grew from Glen's own experience: caring for family, losing his parents, brother, and sister, and sitting at funerals wishing he had asked more while there was still time. Asguard can chat, remind, check in, and gently alert a nominated caregiver when something seems off. It is in beta; families can register interest at asguard.app.
It is not a replacement for family or professional care. It is not a medical device. It is an attempt to fill some of the quiet gaps between visits, calls, and appointments.
Books
The Resilience Garden is a series of practical guides written by Glen. They cover medicinal herbs, food growing, preservation, and storage — written for a UK audience with an uncertain future in mind.
