WordPress is the #1 blogging platform in the world. Over the years, I have had a number of wordpress.com blogs, which are free, in addition to my own personal and photography websites. Some have been discarded, some morphed into different things, depending on circumstance and what has been happening in life.

So this week, I am merging the blogs, all into a single place, here, and plan on adding other content too, including some of my landscape photograph work.

Some instructions on importing and exporting Wordpress blogs can be found here. Some things that are present in WordPress.com that need to be installed manually include:

• Askimet spam filter
• Statistics functions (JetPack seems the top choice)
• The addition of like and share buttons for popular social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, etc (for the moment I have chose “Really Simple Share”)

I will post final closure posts on each of the other blogs and link them back to here. And there is still alot more work to be done on this blog, but it is beginning to take shape.
